Boston Skyline Painting at Artists For Humanity EpiCenter

I went to a wedding this weekend held at the Artists For Humanity EpiCenter in South Boston. Aside from having a fabulous time at the wedding, I thoroughly enjoyed learning about AFH and seeing the brilliant art their young artists produce.

If you haven’t heard of AFH before, their mission is “to bridge economic, racial and social divisions by providing under-resourced youth with the keys to self-sufficiency through paid employment in the arts.” – from the AFH website

Their paintings are available for purchase and the young artists receive a commission on sales. If you’re interested in buying the painting I took a picture of, or viewing their gallery, you can contact Brenda at bleong@afhboston.org.

Also, they now have a store at Faneuil HallAFH The Store. Everything is designed and made by their talented teen artists. A unique Boston experience that’s definitely worth visiting when you head to Faneuil Hall! Here’s a link to a recent WGBH blog on the store.
